strange studio item #458

It's safe to say that I have absolutely NO IDEA what this is - but I love it! It's one of those weird, random things that seem to find its way into my studio...and my heart. I don't know why, but I have always loved and have been fascinated with little gadgety things that have knobs and dials on them. I don't know if it's because they make me think of robots or what, but my eyes go ga-ga for 'em. This particular little gem, the Trail-A-Matic, was something that my husband found when we were living in our loft in the River Market. I think he found it in the street. Knowing my love for such strange objects, he snatched it and it's been mine ever since. HA! To see these photos larger, go here.
